We make sure our guest bed is so comfortable they’ll have a hard time leaving their bedroom! At the Timbrooke Guesthouse, our guest experience will be nothing short of extraordinary. We put a lot of thought and effort into the design and overall comfort of each and every room, creating a unique experience with tons of amenities to enjoy. A Comfortable Bed is a Must

We’ve all been there. You get to a hotel, you look around the room and get so excited about the beautiful hotel room, geek out at the mini bar, throw your bags to the side, and flop on the bed like you’re in a movie… and are met with a super uncomfortable mattress — yikes. There’s nothing worse than getting excited about a trip and the room you’ll be staying in, only to discover the bed is as hard as a rock. A sore back and poor sleep were never on your vacation to-do list! At the Timbrook Guesthouse, we ensure that we use clean, high-quality bedding for the most comfortable stay. Your bed is guaranteed to give our guests a good night’s rest. We stock our guest room with tons of soft, comfy pillows with a beautiful design and warm, cozy guest linens. If you need an additional pillow or blanket, all you have to do is ask. Guests are met with a soft (but not too soft) bed totally worthy of that in-the-movies bed flop the moment you arrive.

One particular design detail that makes each room extra special and personal is the handcrafted bedroom decor sets lovingly made by Jill, the innkeeper’s father. Each room is designed to perfection, with beautiful paint, designer wallpaper, and color to suit the theme and decor of each room. As our guest, you can pick a room that fits your vibe! We love decorating our rooms with small touches of aloha spirit (a tribute to Innkeepers Jill and Peter). Because the Timbrook is a historic home, you feel the years within its walls. While the guesthouse is updated, we’ve preserved the heart of the estate and kept all the gorgeous details that make it unique. Each guest room has its own vibe. Each room is different from the last. Whenever you visit as our guest, you can have a new experience or revisit a familiar warm memory once again.

If you’re prone to taking bathroom mirror selfies, the good news is our bathrooms are really cool! Each guest bathroom fits the theme of the guest bedroom it’s a part of. We put the same thought and intention into the design of the space and its decor as the bedroom. We highly recommend checking out our West Wing Suite if you’re looking for a luxurious soak in a clawfoot tub. We ensure our guests bathroom and guest bedroom receive a thorough cleaning before our guests arrive. We love welcoming guest with a soft and cozy robe and slippers to truly give our guests a spa-like feel. We also stock each room with a blow dryer, fluffy towels, and toiletries to make our guests feel at home.

The Best Breakfast

We’ve talked about the bed. Now, let’s talk about breakfast! After all, a B&B is as much about delicious breakfasts as it is about a cozy bedroom! Wake up each morning and start your day with a gourmet meal that is made from scratch. We have a happy, colorful henhouse right on our property that provides us with the freshest eggs. We also have our own garden on site. If we don’t grow it ourselves, we source ingredients from our local Worthington farmers market. When you think of your stay with us, we hope your tummy rumbles with the tasty memories of our fabulous egg dishes, fluffy pancakes, and fresh smoothies. If you have any dietary restrictions, our innkeeper, Jill, is incredibly empathetic and accommodating to each guest (she is vegetarian and dairy-free herself!). We are happy to create a meal to suit your needs. If you’re looking for other places to eat in the area, there are many five-star restaurants within minutes of the Inn, excellent for a date night out before you wander back to your guest bedroom.

The guesthouse is full of eclectic treasures in each roomthat Peter and Jill have collected over the years. We invite each guest to slowly savor each room and all the design details that make it special. Each room has its own style and decor to suit its personality. We love decorating each space with fresh flowers, inviting guest to enjoy each room and all it has to offer. One of our favorite amenities is our reading room, a cozy space to get lost in a good book and disconnect from it all.

Our sense of hospitality can’t be beat between our innkeepers, Peter and Jill, and our expert accommodating staff. Our Outdoor Spaces

As if the inside wasn’t already special enough, Timbrook has a stunning, peaceful, tranquil outdoor space to explore, nestled on four acres of land. If you’d like more nature to explore, we’re across the street from Antrim Park, the perfect place to have a cup of coffee and enjoy a lovely morning walk. Roam around, and you’ll find pristine gardens and walking paths ideal for a morning walk or an evening stroll, as well as a lush meadow thick with native plants, flowers, and trees. Many people love celebrating weddings with us because of our gorgeous outdoor space. Say hello to the chickens who provide our eggs over in the hen house and take a dip in our heated outdoor ellipse pool. Unwind and feel at ease in our outdoor spa (with a sauna coming soon!). We have a gazebo open all year round, perfect for playing games, reading a good book, or long talks over a bottle of wine with a loved one or group of friends that go deep into the night. Want to spend some time around a fire? Our patio has a fire pit perfect for enjoying mother nature at its best.

The Birds! (And other Fantastical Amenities)

Where else can you visit a B&B with a tropical aviary space full of exotic birds?! Our Innkeepers, Jill and Peter, are full of aloha spirit and have found fun ways to bring little touches of Hawaii to the inn through the aviary and fun decor. Look out for a koi pond coming soon!
