Breakfasts
At The Timbrook Guesthouse

Breakfasts at The Timbrook are a special morning treat for our guests. We embrace fresh and local so if we do not grow or raise it ourselves, then we find local sources, such as our wonderful Farmer’s Market in downtown Worthington. We alternate between sweet and savory dishes so that there is something for everyone as well as for those with any dietary restrictions. Being a vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free herself, Jill knows how to adjust and cater to anyone who needs a specially made breakfast that suits their health conditions.

Our savory eggs dishes at our Bed and Breakfast are especially delicious because the eggs are freshly picked daily from our Happy Hens in our very own hen house. Our colorful flock is always busy delivering us the freshest batch of Easter eggs! A signature egg dish that is always a delight is Jill’s Egg Roulade which is filled with Ricotta, Fontina and roasted Roma Tomatoes. Seasonal Frittatas are also a Timbrook Treat, especially when the ingredients come from the raised garden beds on the estate grounds.

Jill’s Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with a Blueberry Compote

A favorite sweet dish here at our Inn is Jill’s Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with a Blueberry compote.  Guests have left raving reviews of this breakfast on our menu board located in our Breakfast Nook.  French toasts, crepes and waffles also join the delicious sweet line-up.

You will not leave hungry after a breakfast at The Timbrook! Each day you will start your morning with a very versatile fruit cup that changes daily and consists of the freshest melons and berries. A Rich History of Relaxing Stays

The Timbrook Guesthouse began as the Old Jack Antrim Farmhouse, built in 1875. Jack Antrim lived here from 1921 to 1945, when he sold it to the Timmons family and the property became known as Timbrook. Jill and Peter Dole became the owners in 1988. After raising their children, they decided to convert part of their Ohio home to the guesthouse you see today. We look forward to having you stay with us and experiencing the property’s rich history for yourself!

The Perfect Location

Conveniently located in Central Ohio, The Timbrook Guesthouse is just a few minutes from downtown Columbus, about two hours from Cleveland, Ohio via I-71 S, and just under two hours from Cincinnati, Ohio via I-71 N, making it one of the great options for romantic weekend getaways.

While we may not have beaches or a castle, we do have gorgeous gardens and a beautiful building full of island flair. Our inn is the perfect location for weekend getaways: just minutes from downtown Columbus, Ohio but miles from reality. Book one of our couples suites for the weekend today.
